As those who are Linux users know, NickAU and Al1000 are well-versed in Linux. They have the desire to have Bleeping Computer's Linux forum be one of best it can be, a place where all who seek help with Linux issues and questions  will receive Bleeping Computer quality levels of attention.

It is my pleasure to announce that NickAU and Al1000 have both accepted the role of Bleeping Computer moderator.

In addition to carrying out the normal moderator duties, they-along with moderator computerxpds-will be over-seeing the Linux forum. We are extremely fortunate that they have taken this duty on, since all things Linux are outside the scope of most other moderators level of expertise.

Nick and Al, thank you for accepting and thank you for all you do for Bleeping Computer.

Let's wish them and the ever improving Linux forum continued success

hey Nick & Al.....does this mean that 'off topic' stuff is now off limits !!??.... :hysterical:

Congratulations to you both.

I am absolutely certain that you have the support of all the 'linux' crowd.

We are indeed in good hands.

Although I am not active in the Linux community, congratulations to both of you. I know that you will make great contributions to the Linux forum.

(I guess maybe this is an excuse for me to get active in Linux again.)

Congrats to both of you! You've both been a great resource for me personally throughout the years and I've also lurked about, watching you help so many others.

Well done.

We'll see you in the Forums.
