Wifi Slowdown After KB3176495 Applied (My Fix)

My wifi throughput went from a consistent 65 Mbps down to less than 1 Mbps.


I noticed several new active appearances in device manager:






Here's what I did to fix my issue:



2. Reboot my router

3. Reboot my laptop



Thereafter, the newly discovered devices reverted to their previous "inactive" state and my wifi throughput speeds returned to normal:






Just something to try if you run into the same thing.
