Hello, I recently wanted to try a program called 'Bulk Rename Utility'. I trust this site so I searched a bit on it to find out if it was safe to use and I came across a page (I can't seem to find again..) that gave me some helpful sites that can be used to check if software is malicious or not. The only one that indicated anything wrong was this one: http://www.virscan.org/

Report: http://r.virscan.org/report/0729e3e437a7077317e2020c1e9c18fb

*Downloaded from it's download section page.

Another program I wanted to use was notepad++, which I obtained from this site's download section. And again that site was the only one that indicated anything malware related.

I know it could be a false positive as it warns but I just wanted to get another opinion on it before I install either application.

It wasn't this page I got those program scanning sites from but its close to it.

Both Bulk Rename Utility and Notepad++ are legitimate programs, and not malicious. I'm trying to open the VirScan report URLs, but they keep on loading. Even the main website doesn't load for me. Looks like these are false positives.

Edit: It just loaded. It's a false positive from F-PROT.
