Hello

I have a windows 7 with office 2010 Professional installed on it.

On multiple occasions almost once a day I get the following message "excel cannot complete this task with available resources. choose less data or close other applications" I have had a look around online and have found a few fixes but none of these have worked.

I have already tried repairing/reinstalling office, I have even tried on a new computer and I am still having the same problem. what makes even more confusing is that it doesn't seem to be the one spread sheet, it can be any of the spread sheets that I have.

It seems to happen when I am opening the spread sheets, but I can happen as soon as I open the first one or if I open 4 at once there doesn't seem to be a pattern.

Any help would be appreciated

Matt

Thanks for the suggestion, this is one of the pages I have already looked at (or one extremely similar). I have already tried most of the suggested fixes.

This seems to suggest that it would just be the one spreadsheet causing this issue, where as I have found that it doesn't seem to be one specific spareadsheet it can happen with any of the spreadsheets I have and also doesn't seem to be size dependent or depended on any other program/spreadsheets I have open i.e. I can have nothing else open on my PC and open one of the smaller spreadsheets and it will still happen, whereas I can have multiple programs and interent pages open as well as 3-4 spreadsheets and open the same smaller spreadsheet and it wont happen
