I am guessing that since I can't get this to stop, even with Task Manager, that is a virus or fake.

It is a pop-up that says "Authentication Required", "A username and password are being requested by

Behind it is a blue web page at microsoftweb.tech/main/

But the Tab reads Google Security Warning

The blue web page says;

Your computer has been locked

Your computer with the IP address _________ has been infected by the Virus

RDN.YahLover.worm!055BCCAC9FEC -- Because System Activation Key has expired & Your information

(for example, password, messages and credit cards) have been stolen.  Call the Technical Supporet number

++1-888-223-0790 to protect your files and identity from further damage.

Click to Automatically report details of possible security incidents to Google.  Privacy policy.

It is repeating; "Important security message.  Please, call the number immediately.  Seeing these pop-up means you have a virus on your computer ..... blah, blah, blah ...

The lower left corner on the blue web page says:

Transferring data from www.google-analytics.com...

I have not clicked on or done anything on that computer except launch Task Manager and attempt to End Task.

So, please confirm that this is a fake.  Do I have a virus now?  What do I do now?

Computer is running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

and Avast Internet Security trial.

Thanks everyone!

FP
