is there any conventional way to do so???

without using any softwares!!!

Not that I know of. You will need third party software to encrypt the folder. There would be no good way to hide the encrypted folder. You can easily be un-hide a hidden folder in Windows.

If you have Windows Pro version or higher the OS can encrypt data, even if you use EFS it doesn't matter if other user can see the files/folders they are not readable.
