I would suggest looking at GimpTalk.

I got Gimp about a month ago, and with the help of that site and their forums I have gotten pretty familiar with the GIMP.

Some of my creations in GIMP-

It may be confusing now, just wait till you try GAP (the animation plug in)!

You can PM me if you have a few specific questions, but check out GimpTalk first.

Hey,
I tried downloading GAP, but I'm not sure which of the files I need, and where to put them...
in the 'plugin' folder?

Yeah, I remeber having a hard time installing GAP, I'll look it up later, too tired right now.

Send me a PM on GimpTalk when you register, I'm killer_kyle there as well.

Ok

Killmypc, I googled your question and I think I have the answer.

It is supposed to install automaticly.

Download it to your Desktop, then double click the icon and you should get an install window.

You can find it for Windows right here -http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

Hope it works
