Hi!

Here is the link for the other thread since one of the members asked me to post here! :)

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/622000/kaspersky-keeps-crashing-windows-10/#entry4055681

As of right now, I have removed kaspersky and norton (using the removal tools) for the time being I am using windows defender.
I get the 'your pc ran into an error and needs to restart'
I did not have crashing issues before when I was on 8.1, did have minor wifi issues (limited connectivity/no networks found)

Attached File  SysnativeFileCollectionApp.zip   741.66KB   4 downloads

The perf mon report is taking a while? more than 60 seconds

· OS - Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ?
Windows 10 as of now
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64 operating system
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 8 I believe
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? - bought from in store
· Age of system (hardware) I am guessing August 2014 give or take a month; my warranty for the laptop has already expired
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? - I have done a system refresh? it kept my personal files but my programs I had to reinstall again (did this around beginning week of june)

· CPU - not sure I think Intel® Core™ i5-3230M CPU @ 2.60GHz
· Video Card - not sure
· MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
· Power Supply - brand & wattage (skip if laptop)

· System Manufacturer - HP
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)
[font=verdana
· Laptop or Desktop? Laptop

Your UEFI/BIOS (version F.14) dates from 2013.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and that outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Only 6 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 10586 (TH2/1511) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

Do not use more than one antivirus or firewall at one time.

Now that you have used the removal tools for each of these products, try installing Kaspersky again.

If the BSOD recurs, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Is it my drivers that are out of date causing this error to occur?

I will be downloading the new bios;

Update everything.  Kaspersky is usually a very stable program.

The BSOD's are likey due to something that interferes with it.

If you update everything and the BSOD's still occur - then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
