Here are the problems I've been having/what I have been doing:

- Screen sometimes choppy in video games

- Crashes during Dying Light

- Starbound won't launch, apparently this might have something to do with a missing Windows Update

- Windows Update stuck at 0% download

- Standalone Windows Readiness tool hangs

- Malwarebytes finding lots of PUPs in Mozilla folders

- ran /sfc scannow which turned up no problems

What tools should I start with? I have no idea if or with what I am infected. I scan with Avast periodically too and that has never turned up anything.

please help ! let me know if there is anything I should add to make this post more verbose; I like clarity and conciseness rather than text walls to save time.
