It won't. It doesn't replace your real Start Menu. Just hides it and covers it with its own :)

did you test it yourself before? because I installed a lot of softwares on my windows. if something happen, I should reinstall windows and ALL softwares !!

I used it before in Windows 8/8.1, but then I removed if after upgrading to Windows 10 because it had the Start Menu. It is safe :)

I had issues with some settings in classic shell. startisback was so easy and far less of a problem to configure just to my liking. As well as having more flexibility in my opinion. My start menu now looks like my Windows 7 did.

As an example:

Foreman_12842143_6680_screen5_540x432.jp

This is not my desktop but has the same rendering.

I myself using stardock Start10 software its the safes software you can use i had no issue at all i turn off Cortana and search service to gain more RAM space and speed up my Windows 10 without Search service turn on Cortana does not function but Start10 search feature works normally.

Classic Shell is about the best of the alternative start menus but I like the Windows 10 right click context menu.
