I am not sure if the two problems are related, but they may have started roughly the same time. First of all, once in a while (roughly once a week or less), my computer will suddenly shut off (not restart) out of nowhere. I have no clue what could be the cause. Secondly, a couple of times per hour, something steals focus from firefox or word, but it's like a flash - when I am typing I might lose one or two letters and then it returns. I downloaded WIndows Focus Logger, but it hasn't registered it. I ran Norton full system scan, but couldn't find anything. Any suggestions how I could solve these problems would be greatly appreciated. My computer is a Vaio PCG-81112M. Thanks!
