Webcam randomly turned on by itself?

I was on google and i tried to type facebook .com but I made a typo and my computer overloaded with popups and i had to turn my computer off. My computer was fine up until two days later and my webcam turned on by itself, i don't ever use my webcam. I ran avast and malawarebytes and nothing came up. Is there another step I can take? I feel paranoid now. I covered my webcam with tape but there is still audio.
