Is there a way to pull a list of installed printers from a corrupted hard drive with XP on it? The drive shows up when connected as a slave on another machine and I tried getting it through the registry, but cant seem to find the correct key that has them. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is this what you are looking for?

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/102966

Look in

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors

You an also use AutoRuns on a offline registry.

I am pretty sure you did this but did you load the registry from the XP disk offline? You will not see a Current Control Set, only Current Control Set 001 or 002.

You don't need a boot disk as shown in the guide. Just load the hive from the Windows/config directory or the XP drive

You may find the printers in other locations according to the link I posted. This would be more accurate then looking under the Monitor key.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Print\Printers

Yep, thats what I did. ControlSet001 didnt show any printers installed, which I thought was odd. Ill try with Autoruns as soon as i get a chance and see if it shows any results.
