I followed the guide here for fatal.exe virus and still have not removed it from my laptop. I noticed after running malware byte, adware cleaner, window security essentials, krill and even hit man pro with little resolve. I can access internet but still have virus. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I turned my desktop on today and something said, "Desktop upgrade" after which it removed all my desktop icons, pictures, video and downloads.  I immediately panicked hit restart and after a long waiting period my original desktop appeared and all my material and icons.  something is still loading with my start up that shouldn't is my uneducated guess.  I don't wanna lose my stuff and I have backed up all I can.  Help please!!!

I noticed before I ran this HKLM seemed to be a problem and opening random ports trying to access my computer. I have included my log and you can tell me what that is exactly please as I don't know what that is. Thanks

After a restart on the computer is this still happening?

Can you give me more information?

I am here I think I have found that HKLM folder and removed it.  I noticed it was lingering on from the date I first noticed the virus.  Everything seems to be working swell now.  I thank you for your help and keeping me abreast along the way!!! I also thank Bleeping Computer for their website helping those in need.  I will make a donation to your cause when I can.  Again thank you guys a bunch!!!!
