I'd like to create a bootable Windows CD/DVD/USB with imaging and recovery apps on it. BartPE appears to be gone. Other options?

What recovery programs are you looking for. You may want to look at both Hirens and UBCD.

If you have isos of the programs you want to use there is a program called Yumi that will allow you to put multiple isos on one key.

There is UBCD4 Windows that can be customized but you would need an install disk of XP and I'm not familiar with the process to add programs to the base build.

I used Aomei but for some reason it always gave me a blue screen after a Windows update. I don't know if it has been fixed. You can give it a try. It is easy to add portable programs to this program, if it works.
