When I plug my headset into the headphone jack on my computer, the audio playback is swapped; sound that should be coming through the right speaker is playing through the left and vice versa. It's not my headset because I plugged it into my external speakers' headphone jack and it works fine. I've tried restarting my computer and updating the sound drivers but they're already up to date. My computer is custom built so I'm a bit worried that the problem may be something I can't fix.

EDIT: Apparently it's the headset splitter I use.
