I am trying to use Java to open different files and applications but ever since I got Windows 10 it has been acting weird.

Whenever I try to open something with Java Platform SE Binary it comes up with the message "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC?" I click yes then it comes up with a message saying "Java Installation Not Completed" then saying "Unable to install Java-- There are errors in the following switches: Whatever file I am trying to open with Java". Check that the commands are valid and try again."

Now I'm sorry if this doesn't make the most sense or is hard to understand, not the most tech savvy person, but if you know what I can do many thanks to ya!
