Can we run a Server 2012 Foundation as a backup DC to our existing DC running Server 2011 Standard? We only use our DC for AD and DNS, Our Sonicwall handles DHCP duties. We are an office with six Windows 7 Pro workstation and will never grow passed maybe 8 workstation at best. Our file server duties are handled by a Netgear Readynas NAS box which is joined to our domain. Hate to invest in the more costly Server 2012 Standard edition for the backup DC if Foundation will do the job alongside our 2011 SBS DC.

Thanks in advance,
