I had recently updated Java, and had also recently gotten green palm tree earforce x12 headphones but this might not be the case of my crashings, as well as Updatijg Java while my computer was running a full Malwarebytes/SuperAntiSpyware/AVG scan (could not be why i'm crashing also).

When I open TF2, within' 2-4 minutes of playing, my monitor, mouse, and keyboard, and probably many other things turn off instantly except the computer I think and my monitor then says no Imput detected, go to power save. My headphones stay on though, and when my mouse shuts off, I plug it out and back in and the mouse glows but when I try to turn on the monitor, while moving the glowing mouse, it will display the same no Imput signal, go to power save.

It would be dandy for you to tell me how to tell you what hardware i'm using so you could help me, my graphics card is Geforce by Nvidia but I think it's a specific product. I'm currently also using a wireless keyboard that reads RF wireless, and a mouse that says SS WHITE with water and a little shark inside of it ( =) ). My monitor says Sony on it.

This only happens when I play TF2 and no place else (TF2 is my only Steam game by the way :) )

When I try to update my Geforce's drivers, it will just freeze (only the program and not my computer), and it kind of won't update, only at the moment though, I might have to stay determined and keep hitting Download Now to figure things out.

To get back online, I turn off my computer and also unplug the power cord out and back in, and hold the boot button, and I can always get back on, but NO TF2, or I'll get disconnected :,/

I can normally go online but going on TF2 will result in a mouse, monitor, and keyboard failure until reboot/replug

Thanks for replies, and help :)

Also, can you name the part(s) that keeps the monitor cord from slipping off? I want to get new ones but need the name of them.

OS - Windows 7
Other info needs to be collected, need a tutorial of how to know computer parts

Thanks for replies, and help :) Ignore the quoted post above. XD

Let's try looking at these 2 sets of reports:

1)  Please run this report collecting tool (even though you may not be experiencing BSOD's) so that we can provide a complete analysis: (from the pinned topic at the top of the forum)   http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/576314/blue-screen-of-death-bsod-posting-instructions-windows-10-81-8-7-vista/
FYI - I don't often use the Perfmon report, so if it doesn't work please just let me know.

2)  Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog)
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on the "Administrative Events" heading
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility:  http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Step 1 has several things that need doing.  Just follow the instructions at the link step-by-step and you'll be OK

You'll zip up the info and upload it with your next post

Step 2 is a separate report that will let me look at event viewer Warnings, Errors, and Critical events.

It'll let me look at the log and sort it by date/time.  And then I'll be able to look for events that repeat just before the system shuts down unexpectedly.
I'll also look for significant errors which may be related to your problem and I'll look for repeated problems that may/may not affect the problems that you're having.

You'll also zip up the Admin.evtx report as Admin.zip and upload it with your next post.
