I really need some help.
I have gotten the windows activation pro virus and do not know how to remove it. I cannot restore to a previous version as there are no saves. If i try to go into the task manager i cannot see the task manager to kill the virus (if thats how you do it). I would really like for someone to help guide me through. All the guides i have seen were either confusing or didn't work.
Thanks!

I believe i may have fixed it. I booted into system recovery with networking, opened iexplore, and used spyhunter 4. it is still scanning and at this point it has found 1330 threats. Ill reply with the result.

UPDATE:

I had to switch to malwarebytes instead as i did not know that spyhunter required a premium account. I ran the scan and it came up with 2,009 items! After quarantining the items and removing them, i am back into my pc!

If anyone else needs help with this virus i will happily explain how i fixed it.

Thanks!

Reminder: Always scan downloads and links that are not familiar to you. If i had just scanned my download this whole thing would not have happened. Also, buy things legit and do not try to get free downloads. It may seem expensive, but it is better than getting a virus.
