Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, so please be patient with me if there are any mistakes I make/rules I break in this initial posting. A preemptive my bad, if you will.

I keep getting a BSOD every time I try to hibernate my laptop. It is a brand new laptop, and it has been re-imaged/reformatted recently. I have a feeling the problem did not exist until my docking station installation files/drivers were installed, but i'm not 100% sure. This is a work laptop. I have attached the SysnativeFile and Perfmon report zip files to this posting.

My computer information:

OS: Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1

System Type: 64 Bit

Originally installed OS: I don't know.

Age of System: New

Age of OS Installation: New

CPU: Intel Core i7-6820HQ CPU @ 2.70GHz, 2701 Mhz, 4 Cores, 8 Logical Processors

Video Card: Intel HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA Quadro M2000M

System Manufacturer: HP

Model Number: ZBook 15 G3

Type: Laptop

*EDIT: It also says "BANG & OLUFSEN" on my laptop. Not sure if that would be needed information for system manufacturer, but just in case, there it is.

**EDIT: FYI, I have two other coworkers with the exact same setup as me, and they are also getting a BSOD upon attempting to hibernate.

Only 264 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most systems with SP1 have 350-400 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

This device is disabled:

Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Virtual Miniport Adapter for Windows x64    ROOT\NET\0000    This device is disabled.

If it's not needed, please uninstall the Cisco AnyConnect program.

If it's needed, please re-enable it and then update the Cisco AnyConnect program to the latest, W7 compatible version

Lot's of issues with Intel ProSet wireless bluetooth errors in the WER section of the MSINFO32 report.

Please download a fresh copy, then uninstall the current version from Control Panel...Programs and Features, then install the freshly downloaded version

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen both dtsoftbus01.sys and dtscsibus.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration):  New link (15 Aug 2012):  http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link:  http://www.disc-tools.com/download/sptd
Manual procedure here:  http://daemonpro-help.com/en/problems_and_solutions/registry_and_sptd_problems.html

NOTE:  The uninstaller may not find the SPTD.sys driver.  Don't worry about it, just let us know in your post.
NOTE2:  The latest version has an SPTD2.sys driver - the uninstaller is on the same page as the SPTD.sys driver - just download the version for W10!

Beyond this I have these 5 suggestions:
1.  Get ALL available Windows Updates.  It may take several trips to get them all
2.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for your OS from the manufacturer's website (to include BIOS/UEFI).
3.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for the programs and any additional hardware installed on your computer from the developer's website
4.  Start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
5.  If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
