Wifi router problem

Cannot connect to wifi in my laptop. When i try to connect the wifi with right password the windows said windows is unable to connect the wifi. I troubleshoot it also but it didn't fixed. What happen to it any idea? Specs: Router- Qualcomm Atheros AR5B97 Wireless Network Adapter Intel pentium B690 2gb ram. Model of laptop is Aspire 4752Z-B962G50Mnbb.

Hi,

 

If you connect the laptop to the router using an Ethernet cable it works?

 

 

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.
Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options:

  • List IP configuration
  • List Winsock Entries
  • List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
  • List Devices (select Only Problems)

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply.

I pick out and rearranged the wifi router. After i did install of Windows 8.1 Pro Geniune OEM then i installed the latest driver which make the wifi connected.
