This might be a hardware issue, since this PC was damaged by lightning a few years back, and the ethernet port was fried. It might have caused some minor damage to the onboard audio card(my opinion). The same issue was happening on an old HDD, and the brand new one I recently bought and reinstalled windows on as well. Also tested the RAM already.

Late for work, but I ran the minidumps while I was showering.

I'll try to look at this more either later today or tomorrow morning.

But here's what I have so far:

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen both dtsoftbus01.sys and dtscsibus.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration):  New link (15 Aug 2012):  http://www.duplexsecure.com/downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link:  http://www.disc-tools.com/download/sptd
Manual procedure here:  http://daemonpro-help.com/en/problems_and_solutions/registry_and_sptd_problems.html
NOTE:  The uninstaller may not find the SPTD.sys driver.  Don't worry about it, just let us know in your post.
NOTE2:  The latest version has an SPTD2.sys driver - the uninstaller is on the same page as the SPTD.sys driver - just download the version for W10!

Beyond this I have these 5 suggestions:
1.  Get ALL available Windows Updates.  It may take several trips to get them all
2.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for your OS from the manufacturer's website (to include BIOS/UEFI).
3.  Get ALL available, compatible updates for the programs and any additional hardware installed on your computer from the developer's website
4.  Start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
5.  If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html

Alright, uninstalled Alchohol%, and had to do the manual uninstall for SPTD since the programs were not working. Updating windows(although the previous HDD had all the window updates). Running Driver verifier as well, although it might be a bit redundant.

Still getting the same BSOD message, although this one didn't point to RTKBHD64.sys. I assume it was because of Driver Verifier.

Still getting blue screens, although now they're not linking to RTKVHD64.sys which might be a good thing I guess. Disabled driver verifier since It was only giving BSODs on windows drivers, but I'm up for re-enabling it at your instructions.

The AppEx Networks Accelerator LWF is having problems.

Please uninstall it.  If you can't find it, it may be a component of the AMD video drivers - so uninstall them, then reinstall using the Custom settings and be sure to de-select the AppEx stuff.

E: drive only has about 3% free space.  Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance.  Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty).  Low free space can cause BSOD's - but the actual amount depends on the files being used by the system.

Have you completed the hardware diagnostics as I asked?  If so, what were the results?

I unplugged the E: Drive, since it isn't even needed anymore I guess. It was only meant to be plugged in to get the files off it. Completely forgot that a hard drive like that(potentially dying) could cause BSODs even when not in use.

I also can't locate "AppEx Networks Accelerator" and it doesn't appear to be installed through the video driver. I think it might have been installed when I installed the drivers for my motherboard's chipset, I'll see what I can do about tracking it down.

Diagnostics on C: says its pretty much in perfect running condition.

Memtest86 is saying the RAM is running as good as it ever has.

I also frequently scan for virsues with MBAM, so I'm certain that isn't the issue, since this has persisted through different hard drives.

Well, I can't remove the error from my registry without manually deleting it(hesitant to do so), but I found it was installed by the AMD quickstream app. I tried to install it and reinstall it to hope it'd gracefully uninstall itself this time, which it did not.

On the potential plus side, I can get perfmon to stop throwing the error if I have AMD quickstream installed, although I'm not sure if that helps me out.

Waiting for the next BSOD with bated breath.

MBAM isn't a virus scanner.  Use it in conjunction with an antivirus for the best protection.

Let's just wait and see what the next BSOD offers us in the way of information........

Well, I have Panda for active anti-virus, along with the occasional MBAM scans.

So far I haven't gotten a blue screen, which makes me kind of mad that I might have to live with this crappy program installed.

I usually suggest waiting a week to see if the BSOD's come back.  If they don't, then I'd begin to think that it might be fixed

BUT, then I wait for another week before starting to think that it is fixed.

Good luck!

Well, it was good while it lasted I guess, and than the BSODs came back in full swing, back to RTKBHD64.sys crashes.

Thanks again for the help you're providing.

There's only 1 memory dump after the 21st (it dates from the 26th).

MSINFO32 doesn't contain any error reports in the WER section - so I can't verify other BSOD's.

This is most likely a hardware problem, and with the history of the lightning strike and ethernet port, I'd strongly suspect the motherboard.

If the audio is built into the motherboard, disable it in the BIOS.
That will (hopefully) prevent further problems.

If sound is needed/wanted, you'll have to get another sound card.  But be careful as you don't know if any of the slots that you plug it into were damaged by the lightning strike.
