I have 2 laptops I definitely don't want Windows 10 to install over Windows 7. They are 2 Lenovo T-500's  which have switchable graphics and some Lenovo software that is not compatible I've read. Lately I check and see some Recommended Updates are trying to trick me into Upgrading. I unchecked treating Recommended Updates as Important.  I keep getting those pop-ups.

What's the easiest way to Keep Windows 10 off those laptops? Thanks

I don't know if it is the easiest but the one I am using is certainly easy to set up and use - GWX control panel. It's also free !

Whoa I said "easy" Chris. Right now I'm thinking of either keeping them off and in their cases until 7/31 or just turning Updates OFF until 8/1. These work great with Windows 7 and I don't need a headache.

Right now I have it on Important Only and Let Me Choose.

I use GRC's Never10, it's simple:

Thanks Platypus that looks easy. Last night I got the Windows 10 Accept or Decline pop-up and I clicked on Decline. And for the next 12 days WU is set for Never.

Just to be on the safe side, I use both GRC's Never10 and GWX Control Panel on both my Win 7 and Win 8.1 systems.

They work together and you can read up on the Windows Updates to be sure you do not install...

If you have installed them, it is simple to Un-install them..

Good Luck.

Don't worry, after 29 July Windows 10 will no longer be offered for free, then you will need to pay for it!
