Slow Computer

Over the last few days i have noticed that my computer is very slow, I have tried the usual deleting files etc but it still seems slow even with the internet.
I have Windows xp, broadband cable
and free space avaiable is 74.6 gb.

Go through the steps in this slow computer checklist and see if it helps.

Startup inspector is a free program which Enthusiast frequently recommends and is a good program for seeing what programs are launching at startup. You can find it here: http://www.windowsstartup.com/startupinspector.php
