Windows 10 64 bit Pro, the free upgrade from Microsoft for Win 7 64 bit Pro.

I activated the built in Administrator account using Command Prompt (Admin) command = net user Administrator /active:yes

With the Administrator account activated, the account appears under "User Accounts", as soxx@embarqmail.com, not Administrator.

Running "netplwiz.exe" shows two new accounts:

username xxxxxxxx@embarqmail.com     group = HomeUsers

username xxxxxxxx@embarqmail.com     group = Administrators,Users

Mod Edit:  Modified username posted by OP, protection from spambots - Hamluis.

Something appears corrupted.

Regedit shows my email address in these locations:

The Administrators name has been change to soXX@embarqmail.com.... Login with it, and I am an Administrator.  When I disable using "net user Administrator /active:no" the soXX@embarqmail.com username goes away, is disabled.
