Hi there! First time poster here.

Bought a machine off pcspecilist 6 months ago. The CPU fan and heatsink are just basic and i'm getting issues with cooling. Currently CPU temp sits around high 60s to low 80s under light load. While gaming (Fifa 16, TF2, Batman Origins) Temps can go well into the 90s. These are the temps i'm getting after a clean out. Before, it was worse with games stuttering when getting to 95+

Bellow is what i have. Any suggestions would be great. My budget is about £30-50

Very strange CPU choice. Anyway it's very easy to beat AMD stock cooler on cooling performance so there are virtually endless selection to choose from. Only problem is cooler's height that should be somewhere around 145mm max.

Couple of basic coolers that come in mind: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo, Arctic cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2, Raijintek Aidos.

Thanks for the suggestions. Can you elaborate a little more on the CPU please? I'm open to suggestions with upgrading that as well as some games were moaning that it wasn't meeting the recommended requirements

Combining AMD APU (with good integrated GPU) with NVIDIA GTX 960 makes no sense. If using external graphics, Athlon X4 (or AM3+ FX CPU) is better choice.

However not much better ones are available for FM2+ socket so upgrading only CPU is not good option. Often games have no idea of latest tech so "recommendations" games say are often pretty funny. What games moan about not meeting CPU requirements?

Ah ok, well i'm pretty stuck with that at the moment then. What about those pre-filled liquid coolers. Are any of them worth getting over the above fans?

If you are not going to overclock, then air coolers are good enough and have much less hassle.
