Hello ,The issue I am having is on my wife’s laptop .I turn it on and the OS(which is now windows 10, kind of got forced into it) will not load I get some kind of memory error and the laptop will not start.I will restart it pressing shift+F8 to get into safe mode to do any kind of troubleshoot ,repair available or to see if it’s a virus and run anti-virus in safe mode .Safe mode does open but it requires an email to run any repair, troubleshoot or any other option to fix the issue .The problem is it’s an old @hotmail.com address which hotmail is now outlook and hotmail was dispersed .We tried everything we could to recover that Email but it is impossible to recover an Email that does not exist any more .We are at a loss at how to remedy this situation .Can you help

The @hotmail address' are still good (I have several of them that I still use regularly).  They just open in Outlook.com (even though the address is still @hotmail.com)

You can recover the password by following the instructions at the login screen (I did this a couple of months back for a customer).

If you can't recover the password, then you'll have to decide if you want to recover data off of the system.

Once the data recovery is done, you can reinstall Windows.

Let us know what version you had on the system originally - and if you have the product key.

Then we can discuss how you want to proceed.

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.
