Hello, I am yet to build my own pc. But i want to get into it. pc must include gtx 1080 graphics card, ssd and be geared toward 1440p 100hz gaming. could i get some help putting together a parts list thanks.

Even with a large SSD, depending on what else you'll use your computer for, you might want a HDD of a terabyte or two.

And I'm assuming you've got peripherals in mind. (Mouse, keyboard, monitor, headset etc.)

 

With that budget you could easily 1440p, 144Hz with G-Sync as well.

You also need an operating system.  Here's Windows 10 Home, you'll need the 64-bit.  Personally, I'd go for an Asus and Gigabyte motherboard.  MSI is good, but I prefer the quality of Asus and Gigabyte.  Here is a good one.
