I am new in this forum and I am here to learn more. I  have attach to the windows server 2008 R2 around 10 client computers and employee left like 4 months ago and now I have a new user.

should I just replace the name of the old user for the new one?, it wont affect anything else? what else should I change so the new user will have his own name and password. (know that I have to reset the password too). I just want to have the same setting. so the new will have to access the computer under his own name.

should I do that in the client computer or from the server?

Thank you appreciate your help

You will need to create a user account of the same name first on the server. Then do it from the client computer.
