When I turn on my PC, after it successfully load the windows, in just a few seconds after I can see my background, it automatically powers down.

My PC worked perfectly fine yesterday. But, I recently got a new power supply unit, so I assumed that I plugged in wrong cables, but then I don't understand why would it successfully load the windows?

I did tried my old power supply, but same thing happened.

Following is my PC specs.

i5 760/ hd 5770/ 8gb ram/ 500w power supply unit/ p55a ud3r

*My best guess is that there is something wrong with my gpu. I never had the pci e cable connected to my gpu before, and it worked perfectly fine. Now, if I don't plug it in, it causes continuous beep sound

If I need to give you additional information to see what is wrong, please let me know.

Thanks.
