Windows Rollup Procedure - Worked For Me OK.

I thought for those like me that reinstall Operating Systems from scratch may find this useful.

 

I have tried this Method with Links and Steps for Windows 7 Machines ive repaired and compatible with WIN 8 if needed on links.

 

No issues arose and PCs were then up to date after also checking for new Updates afterwards { At Mid June 2016 }.

 

Hopefully some others can try this and confirm no issues arise afterwoods.

 

APRIL 2016 - WINDOWS ROLLUP PROCEDURE:

 

 

STEP 1 – INSTALL YOUR VERSION OF SVC PK 1 { IF YOU DON’T HAVE ALLREADY }

                 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842

                Click Language – Then DOWNLOAD TAB – Select “ ISO ”  Contains Both  - 32 BIT /  64 BIT.

 

STEP 2 – WHICH VERSION DO I HAVE  ?

                If you’re not sure whether you’re using a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 7, you’ll need to  find out.

               1/ Click the “Start” button.

               2/ Right-Click “Computer” in the Start menu, and then select “Properties.”

               You’ll see the information displayed to the right of “System Type” under the System header.

 

STEP 3 – INSTALL WINDOWS STACK UPDATE –  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3020369

                DOWNLOAD YOUR VERSION PACKAGE  - 32 Bit / 64 BIT.

 

STEP 4 – INSTALL – Windows 7 SP1 Convenience Rollup  {April 2016 }.

               32 BIT – http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/updt/2016/05/windows6.1-kb3125574-v4-x86_ba1ff5537312561795cc04db0b02fbb0a74b2cbd.msu

               64 BIT – http://download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/updt/2016/05/windows6.1-kb3125574-v4-x64_2dafb1d203c8964239af3048b5dd4b1264cd93b9.msu

 

STEP 5  - INSTALL - Update Agent  - IF REQUIRED  / SELECT VERSION.

               32 BIT / 64 BIT  -  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3112343

 

STEP 6 – CHECK FOR ANY NEW CURRENT UPDATES  - { I HAD NONE AFTER THIS PROCEDURE AS AT – MID JUNE 2016 }.

 

NOTE : ONCE ALL HAVE BEEN DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED – WIN 10 Crap… RE - APPEARS.

              SIMPLY DOWNLOAD AND RUN GWX CONTROL PANEL   – TO REMOVE WIN 10 .

Also Updates still took some time to check as usual 1-2 hrs .
