need advice about HDD diagnostic

So i ran diagnostic for my HDD after suddenly giving me a black screen during gameplay

i used Gsmart control and the result was :

Well...the first thing that I would suggest...is to run the hard drive manufacturer's diagnostic, rather than any other.  The drive manufacturer should have the greatest understanding of any data collected by any monitoring program/utility, IMO.

 

I would run the extended diagnostic, rather than the short, since I believe it provides a more exhaustive, reliable portrayal of the drive status.  WD guidance follows.

In the end,,,status should be displayed as "pass" or "fail", there is no need to post the log here, just tell us what the final status was.

I'm not sure what you are referring to by "that".

 

All I can say...if I had a WD drive and then ran its diagnostic properly on said drive and the result was "Pass"...I would settle for that until there is strong evidence to the contrary.  "Strong evidence" means warnings or errors from either Windows or the system...that would validate my concern.
