Hi I just built a PC and i cant get the onboard network card on my msi 970 gaming to work. I have it hooded up wireless but id rather have it direct connected for gaming. It says in device manager that i have a Ethernet controller under other and that it need drivers but seeing how it is built onto the board their are no drivers.

Any ideas O wise ones.

Ask if you need any more information about my system.

Thank you

Just because the network port is built onto the motherboard board it does not mean that it does not need a driver - the driver should be available from MSI - either online or on the optical disk usually supplied with the motherboard (along with all the other drivers for your motherboard).

Go to the MSI website, select your operating system, click on Driver.

Choose the driver you want to download and install it.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
