Hi! My Brother Mfc-J6520DW printer will not restart (in other words, the LCD screen and light on power button do not turn on or respond).

I have tried the following after researching the internet extensively, all without success:

A. Plugging it in to various electrical outlets I know are working.

B. Unplugging for extended periods of time then re-plugging.

C.

1. Unplug the printer for at least 10 minutes.

2. Take out all printer trays.
3. Hold down the on/off button
4. Plug in the power (no success).

I have not found out how to "Hard Reset" the unit other than Item C. above (again, without success).

I would be most appreciative to anyone that can help. My printer is past warranty, but has hardly been used and treated with kid gloves, so I doubt it is anything broken (at least, on my part).

Thank you ahead of time!!!

Best regards,
John Green

Welcome to Bleeping Computer John.

It may be a power supply issue.  What happened before the problem?  Have you experienced severe weather recently and/or a power outage?
