Hi, For what seems like forever, I have opened folders by using a double left mouse button click, but for some reason no more. I can open desktop icons this way but I now have to right click on a folder then click 'open' from the drop down menu, which is very tiresome. In addition I now find that I am not able to make a 'new folder', except when I am inside another folder! Clearly some settings have been changed, but I have not, as yet been able to discover which ones.

Additionally when I try to do a left mouse click to open a folder I get an error message, which I have attached to this cry for help[
