I don't use it... but its the same thing as regular Ubuntu. Just has added software. What is your problem with it?


OS - Ubuntu 14.04/16.04 & Windows 10

i can't seem to route the computer's sound through the Firewire interface to my Presonus Firepod hardware mixer. ubuntu Studio wants to use the onboard sound card.I need to disable it.

I figured it out - disabled the sound card in settings and the Firewire kicked right in---!

I really had to search for the setting- it wasn't in the "Audio Recording" section. It was in the general sound settings- Duh- don't know why I didn't think of that earlier!
