These are just cheap speakers. They were working last night. This morning there was no sound. When I plugged head phones into the jack on back there sound but it wasn't loud. When plugged into the front jack both work fine.

It almost sounds like the rear audio port has a problem.  For convenience, you should consider just using the front jack as you can get sound that way as you mentioned both work fine when plugged into the front jack.
