Need drivers for USB wireless adapter

Immediately plugging in my USB Wireless adapter was presented with "Driver was not successfully installed. No driver found" in two seconds of plugging it in. I Googled the hardware ID but only two pages (16 results) showed up in Google, all of which were malware websites. There was no legitimate place to download the drivers.
