we are all on a network connected to windows SBS 20111, one of the pruinters the girls upstairs are connect too wont print, i check the connection its fine, i pinged the preinter from ALL pcs i get reply, i print test page it says its going to printer but nothing prints, any ideas? would restarting the server help i know there are some updates to be installed

Stop and start the print spooler on the server.  From a command prompt.




wait for it to complete and then.




Here are the instructions for doing it with the GUI.  This has been an issue since Windows NT.  Unless I've needed something provided by printing from a server, security or driver updates, I always prefer printing directly to the printer.
