today morning i get infected with Jigsaw-ransomware. Now i did a complete new Setup after a backup of all files. But about 600 files are infected/crypted with the file-endig ".epic". I downloaded the encrypting-zip and followed the instructions, but the program didn´t find encrypted files?! What can i do? Can someone have a look on one of my infected/crypted files?

Thanks in advance

Beste greets

Try the latest version of JigSawDecrypter (v1.1.3.18), I just updated it earlier today for a new variant discovered. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/jigsaw-decrypter/
If it does not decrypt your files, I will need a sample of the malware. If you find the malware executable (usually runs as firefox.exe or drpbox.exe), you may submit it here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/submit-malware.php?channel=168

There is an ongoing discussion in this topic where you can ask questions and seek further assistance. Other victims have been directed there to share information, experiences and suggestions.Rather than have everyone with individual topics, it would be best (and more manageable for staff) if you posted any more questions, comments or requests for assistance in the above support topic discussion. Also post in that topic when you have submitted a sample malware executable as requested by Demonslay335

To avoid unnecessary confusion, this topic is closed.
