newer burning software better than old? like better quality or just has more

i have  a really old maybe 10 year old version of nero

if it worked then shouldnt it work now?


i just have to find it and load it again


was just wondering if it would make any difference like longer disc life or just more efficient

even though the speed of the burner or dvd disc record speed is always your limit


going to back up old quality video to dvd disc, i know about m disc, but im just going to use

these dvd+r


*** just tried loading nero 8, seems its expired 8(

Should work just fine, nothing has changed with burning software. I am using a 10 year old version of Roxio in my Windows 10 machine and it works great.
