Go to your support page here. In the dropdown box select Windows 10. Under Others download the following driver.

Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver File Size 2.23 MBytesupdate 2015/09/09

Unzip the files to the root of a USB flash drive or burn the unzipped files to a DVD. When Windows asks for the drivers point it to your DVD or USB flash drive. I think from your error Windows is looking for your Mass Storage Drivers but I can't understand why they would not be included in Windows 10.

Edit: Is this install on a clean drive or are you trying to dual boot with your linux distro?

If you are going to dual boot your grub loader may be deleted after installing Windows 10 and will need to be repaired. You should also look at your partition structure on the HDD. Windows cannot recognize the linux file system so you will need to resize your linux partition(s) to allow Windows to be installed.

What I was referring to was the fact you need to create unallocated space on the hard drive with linux so Windows will install.

When do you get this statement? Is it when the OS is looking for a hard drive to install? I am not sure what device drivers Windows 10 is asking for.

Edit: Linux installed fine on this laptop, correct?

1 windows install screen. You can select your language and keyboard

Then i press next 2 then install now. Then i press install now 3 then installing starts text 4 then it asks these files you gave me. 5 then i give file that is intel 8 series chipset family SATA AHCI controller. Name is some inf file.

I select it and press next. 6 it loads some time. 7 then it says new device drivers not found... getting interesting :)

Should not sold the ssd disk :)
