Hello!

I have Win 8.1 and installed the GWX Control Panel earlier this year to stop the Win 10 from taking over my pc.

I have noticed that the GWX Control Panel has turned itself "off", as there is a red "X" on the icon and when I open it up, all of the features that are supposed to be running all say "no" (not turned on).

There is no features for turning this "on", so I have no idea if this is broken or if its done its job and its over with, or if I even leave it on my pc???

I've gotten onto some GWX sites, but they all seem to be blogs.  I have not found any email address to send my questions too, and I have not seen any forums for questions and answers concerning this program.

So, do I still need this?  Why is it "off"?

Thanks

Yes you still need it.  Mine is still on & working.  Open it and check the lower left corner of the window.  You should have Monitor Mode turned on, but it sounds like you don't.  Turn it on and that should solve your problem.

 Good luck.

Make regular full system backups or you'll be sorry sooner or later.
