Are you saying you are downloading Windows 10 iso from the site and trying to create a bootable flash drive using linux?

You can use Unetbootin for linux to create a bootable USB from the iso. How did you create the bootable usb flash drive, using dd?

Instead of using the Media Creator download the iso direct here. Try Unetbootin again. If that does not work, have you tried using the dd command in terminal to write to the USB flash drive?

For Asus does tapping Esc or F8 with the USB flash drive attached at boot give you a boot menu?

When you say WIndows does not install do you mean Windows 10 starts to install and fails or refuses to even boot?

The fact that linux installs smoothly and Windows 10 fails doesn't really surprise me.

Try using the dd command in terminal to write the iso to a USB flash drive. As you know dd can be dangerous if you input the wrong device names.
