I went through a harrowing situation where after my girlfrined used my computer I was faced with torrential pop-ups and "helpful" programs loading themselves on my system.

I cut net access, uninstalled the programs through windows uninstal

and removed 3 trojans using Microsof Security then scanned for any others

 (total system scan)

(or to see if they or any others were there) with  Hosecall and Spybot S&D.

I prefored a crc check in safe mode with no problems coming up.

   THEN

I did a system restore to a about 4 hours before the whole thing started.

My problem is when I restarted windows did not load two items on startup (an alarm program and puush)

And also UAC now pops up and equires me to constantly give security permission to active some files sich ass ccleaner, U-torrent and others.

Also I get a " Destination access denied you need adminstrator privleges to place a file on this drive"  (which I then give and things are fine)

I have no idea what's wrong.

I did try Combofix which worked - but removed a ton of files I'm using. (like classic shell)

I restored the system (with no problem) as I don't want to do without those but still have the security issue.

When looking at the UAC settings (both before and after Combofix) it was still set to the second level from the bottom,

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware says I don't have anything.

AdwCleaner v5.200 only flags Stumble (stumble upon ap. ) and Hola.

 Windows can't find anything.

sfc /scannow (in both safe mode and normal ) shows my files to be intact.

Both of the accounts I have here show up as administrator.

Help.

Quick question...

I have Express Scribe which is from  NCH.  I know NCH likes to send out little presents with it's software but I NEED Express scribe!!

Also I've noticed that the ESET Online scanner looks like it's going to gobble my copy of cheat engine.

I've had it for long before I had problems and I use it to take screenshots in games that don't usually provide 3rd person views.

 - How do I RESTORE it if it is removed?

Please do what I have requested.  We can look at the unrelated problems after we have determined if you are infected and need to clean your computer.

Yup UAC is still asking me if I want to make changes on my computer every time I open a bunch of files including ccleaner. And the two programs in my startup (citrus alarm clock and puush) aren't starting at startup. if I want to use them I have to start them manually. - with the UAC popup going up (of course)

Your popups are the UAC???  Turn it off.  The UAC notifies you when changes are going to be made to your computer that require administrator level permissions.  About the only real use for this is that it can stop some viruses from making changes in the operating system.  This is one of the reasons you have an antivirus and firewall.

Are those two programs showing up in the startup list?

Open the Start menu and type in msconfig in the Search Programs and Files box.

msconfig will appear above the search box, right click on it and select Run as administrator.  This will open System Configuration.

When System Configuration opens click on the Startup tab to view the programs there.

Also I get a " Destination access denied you need adminstrator privleges to place a file on this drive"  (which I then give and things are fine)

Yup UAC is still asking me if I want to make changes on my computer every time I open a bunch of files including ccleaner. And the two programs in my startup (citrus alarm clock and puush) aren't starting at startup. if I want to use them I have to start them manually. - with the UAC popup going up (of course)

That is intentional by design. Although CCleaner actually creates a task to skip UAC prompt

If you want to dial the settings of UAC down (not recommended):

Open Control Panel

Go to System and Security

Under Security and Maintenance, click Change User Account Control settings

You can drag the slider to Never Notify <<<Although you can turn the UAC off, I don't recommend you to do this

P2P downloads is one of the quickest ways I know of to become infected.  You have no way of knowing it the files being offered are infected or not.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
