I have been having the device has failed and recovered, thought it usually doesn't recover, issue for nearly 6+ months now. Finally got the money and people were telling me its because i had a faulty power supply. Got a new one still same issue. Got a new video card. Still same issue. Then read this topic https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/389688/geforce-drivers/nvidia-statement-on-tdr-errors-display-driver-nvlddmkm-stopped-/ Went ahead and downloaed the AIDA64 Extreme and it looking through statistics it is giving me the error symbol where it goes over voltage. https://postimg.org/image/cfjusdas1/ I'm thinking that this must be the issue just unsure how to fix it.

Can provide any other information needed like dxdiag copy paste or AIDA report etc just let me know. Getting tired of 20-90 minutes of netflix/gaming/webbrowsing or anything really.

Please start with these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Let us know the results and we'll move on from there.

I'm not familiar with the AIDA64 tool - so you may want to ask over in the Internal Hardware forums also:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/

Not a problem. I will go ahead and run these this evening when I get off work. Ran a memory test and stress test on CPU a few days ago was fine. Been reading that this is most likely a voltage issue and the fact that I see errors next to the voltage makes me agree. Its a brand new PSU (replaced old one that i had same issue with) and a brand new Graphics card (replaced old one I had issue with).

If it's voltage, I'll not be of much help.

But it's suspicious that you've had issues with both the PSU and GPU (and have replaced both), yet you still have issues.

I'd wonder about the motherboard (but don't go and get one just yet) - but there aren't any 100% accurate tests for them.

Just a thought, can you switch the video card to another slot?  That might tell you if the slot is bad.

Ran the mem test passed no errors let it go for about 11 hours while @ work. Any idea where/who would have good idea on the voltage? Would playing around with settings in bios maybe do anything. Card is factory OCd nothing else is OCd.Let me open up my desk and see if I can change slots.

EDIT issue with other slot is no clip in back to hold card in place it snapped off months+ ago. I can still try slot though and see what happens..

Here is the full html http://www.filedropper.com/report_4 file of the AIDA report it generates about my computer not sure if anything in there helps you.

For voltage help, I'd post over in the Internal Hardware forums:    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/7/internal-hardware/

If no help there, then I'd start looking at overclocking forums - as they tend to have more experience with adjusting voltages.

Try the other slot - just be careful that it doesn't jiggle the card (as that'll create more problems).
