Firmware Problem

Just bought an Asus Drw 24B1ST, am trying to update the flashware from 1.00 to 1.03, flash will not finish get the message "firmware update cannotbe completed contact vendor", never had that happen before, any ideas appreciated

Hello, Is there a reason you need to upgrade to 1.03? If it functions normally with 1.00 why not just leave it? 

 

Did you get the correct version of the drivers (32bit vs 64bit)?

Thanks for the reply.Was updating because 1.03 is the latest version, downloaded the firmware from Imgburn, was not given the option of 32/64bits.

Here's what is generally said of BIOS/ Firmware updates: if it ain't broke don't fix it. If you are updating just for the sake of updating it is not worth the risk.
