Mapped network drive says access denied

I have never had issues with shared drives until I enabled uac, now anytime I try to send a file to another pc I get folder destination access denied. How do I fix this? Win 7 x64

This sounds like a permissions issue, try the steps below.

 

 
1. Right-click the folder that you want to take ownership of, and then click Properties.
 
2. Click the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.
 
3. Click Edit. 
 
4. Click the name of the person you want to give ownership to.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

It's a network drive not a folder
