Hey and thanks for any help here. My buddy bought this laptop about 5 days ago and has had a couple of blue screens since. It was bought used but it does have its windows7 serial key sticker. I have tested the RAM with windows memory diagnostics.. and the have run sfc /scannow.. and the software "hard drive inspector" shows the hard drive is working properly.

Here are the zipped files and thanks again for helping :)

Only 302 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most systems with SP1 have 350-400 or more.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

Only 2 memory dumps in the uploaded reports.  Just in case this is a hardware problem, please run these free diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

In the event that none of this identifies the problem, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions:  http://www.carrona.org/verifier.html
